Go Dog Go!

Yesterday Brent and I were talking about Dr. Suess. It was the 105th anniversary of Dr. Suess's birthday. He published over 60 books in his lifetime including these classics, "Cat In The Hat" and "Green Eggs And Ham".
I remember reading these books and enjoyed them. My favorite though was the Go Dog Go! book. But I found out this morning that Dr. Suess didn't actually write the book. Paul Eastman did. Who is that guy? Well he is was protegé of Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss). Eastman wrote many books for children, in his own distinct style under the Dr. Seuss brand of Random House.
The point is these books have had a huge impact the youth of the nation. Even I was inspired to read by the rhymes and lyrics of the written words of Dr. Suess. He made reading fun. And introduced some really weird language.

Brent is celebrating Dr. Suess week by making a recipe from his Green Eeggs And Ham Cookbook. You can vote for one of the three recipes that you would like for him to cook and eat on his blog page. Check it out! Hint: VOTE for Who Pudding.
