Maybe these pants never really disappeared. I am talking about the "MC Hammer" pants. Some people call them "harem" pants. Regardless, MC Hammer brought them to the front lines of fashion back in the 80's. I didn't like them then and I don't like them now. There is no reason in the world to bring them back. 
And while we are talking about fashion, I am going to lay it all on the line. Let's discuss the leggings. Really? There is no need for them either. Ok, maybe for those gals that have long, lean and slender legs. For squatty-bodied ladies like me? No way. And for that reason, they should be banned. How many ladies are sporting the leggings and shouldn't be? Exactly my point. Those people that are buying them, are the ones who shouldn't be wearing them. It's like fabric paint! The leggings show every bulge, dimple, defect, etc. that you want to hide. Why do you do want to accentuate your imperfections by putting skin tight fabric on like shrink wrap? No one does!!!! Please take the leggings out of circulation!! There are so many fashion crimes out there. And yes, I am a fashion expert!!
