Music Monday [Hold Me Together]

This weeks selection brings attention to Royal Tailor, a new artist on The House FM.

Royal Tailor - Hold Me Together
Hello mercy
I have been searching for You lately
I've been wounded and from what I hear
You have the remedy

They told me You would be for me
so now I need to know
Is this a love that can save me
Or say you will then don't

Will You stay with me
When nobody is around
If this is real
Then tell me now

(Chorus)
Can You hold me together
Can Your love reach down this far
Can You hold me together
'Cause without You holding my heart
I'm falling apart, falling apart

Saying so long, been lost, been gone
Not sure what to pray
It's not easy, but I know You see me
When I lose my way

I keep on floating not knowing
If there is more for me
Don't want to sink beneath
Waves of negativity

I'm going under,
I'm afraid I might drown
If this is real,
I need you now

Chorus

I'm feeling stronger
With You by my side
And I realize You are my hope
And I need to know

Chorus

Without You
I'm falling apart
Falling apart

How many times in your day to day events do things just fall apart?  Or by week to week?  You get my drift.  Sometimes it doesn't take much for that to happen.  It seems as if the bad just steam rolls right over you.  All of a sudden you are in a puddle of tears and nothing is going right.

This song is a good reminder that things will probably fall apart, but when they do... the One to turn to is God.  He knows your bad days, your good days...he knows your days.  And His hands a big enough to hold all of them.  Plus He holds all the hearts he has created.  In His loving care, He holds each one special.

The bible talks about God holding the broken.

Ps. 147:3 God heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.

Ps. 34:18 The lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

No matter what you are going through, know that God cares, that He loves, and that He holds.   God can hold and bind your broken heart too, but you have to give Him all the pieces.
