Music Monday [The Light In Me]

I am a big Brandon Heath fan.  Why?  Because of his words.  He is an awe-inspiring song writer that communicates to my heart.  Every time I hear one of his songs, I feel like I am reading his prayer journal.  He's real, he's genuine, he's God's, and gut-wrenching honest in his lyrics.  When he puts his heart to music it's a loving transformation.  


The song "The Light In Me" describes his transformation he has experienced in Christ.  Read his heart...

Can you see God's "light" oozing from these words?  My prayer is that God's light shines through my words also.  Light triumphs over darkness every time.  Flashlights, as meager as they are, can always illuminate a dark room.  My favorite line is "I'm just a reflection...So pull me closer to You."  My prayer is that my heart words shine the light of Christ, shine His light on this hill, His light would illuminate those hearts who read, those who hear.
